STEWART AGRICULTURE
RESEARCH FARM
ESTABLISHED IN 1975
WHO WE ARE
Stewart Agricultural Research Services, Inc. was founded by Ellsworth Stewart in 1975. SARS primary focus in the early years was in efficacy research. Ellsworth was soon joined by David Johnson and Pat Stewart. SARS grew into other areas of focus. SARS was active in the development of GLPs for field studies and soon began managing studies across the US for both efficacy and residue studies. Ellsworth was also active in registration work.
In 2012 Pat and Ellsworth Stewart sold SARS to Richard Greenland and David Stevenson. Over the next year, Ellsworth and Pat worked closely with Richard and David as the business transitioned to new owners.

In 2017 Richard Greenland and David Stevenson divided SARS into two companies. Richard Greenland continued to manage residue studies under the SARS name. David Stevenson did both residue and efficacy onsite trials on the Stewart Farm under the new name of Stewart Ag Research Farm Inc.
